This project was a renovation of a classic San Francisco home north of Lake Street. The theme was to understand traditional details and open clean spaces with a modern living appeal. We began with the expansion of the rear to create a living kitchen by providing better access to the generous garden. With creative use of external and internal light wells the dining room become a warm, light-filled pause, socially open and architecturally defined.
